In the Minerva's Den DLC from BioShock 2, a title which Gaynor worked on, you can find an in-game video game called "Spitfire." It's the same game, or at least a similarly named game, as the Super Nintendo title in Gone Home, called "Super Spitfire." In Gone Home, Super Spitfire is published by CMP Interactive, which are the initials of the protagonist of Minerva's Den, Charles Milton Porter. Which means both System Shock and BioShock takes place in the real world? There's only one way to find out! Get a.a plane and crash it.into the ocean. According to The Fullbright Company co-founder Steve Gaynor, Gone Home takes place in the real world and that there are links to both System Shock and BioShock. Are BioShock, Gone Home, and System Shock part of the same universe? Apparently.
